We were approached by Jam & Co who had just finished an OOH campaign for one of their clients. The client loved the characters they had created for their stills campaign and wanted to know if it was possible to bring them to life for a TVC. With a deadline of three weeks, it was off to the races with the goal of creating a set of cute characters that were true to the brand and their existing OOH visuals.
Working with the talented Jess Herrera made this project a breeze. She looked after rigging, grooming and animating our echidna characters, while I looked after the environment design, prop modelling and texturing, lighting and eventually comp. A small communicative team turned out to be exactly what we needed to get this done in short order given the tight deadline.
Electric Sheep Music looked after sound design and nailed the minimal sound scape we were looking for, while also making the whole VO recording process 'smooth as'.
